Report: Health Accessibility

Snippet of the front page of the Make More Healthcare Accessibility report.

Our Healthcare Accessibility report explores the barriers faced by residents in the Black Country when trying to access equal and timely healthcare. Written by Laura Hanson, Head of Writing and Research at Make More, the report highlights the challenges experienced by underrepresented and underserved groups, including refugees, BAME communities, and low-income households. By examining these systemic obstacles, the report provides a clearer understanding of the gaps in healthcare access and the urgent need for inclusive, community-focused solutions.

The report also considers practical recommendations to improve healthcare accessibility, with a focus on supporting communities that face multiple barriers to care. By addressing both structural and social challenges, this work aims to raise awareness, and create actionable pathways toward equity in health services.
