Impact: Pop-Up STEM

STEM Workshop Project Report by Make More

Our Pop-Up STEM Workshops brought hands-on learning directly into local neighbourhoods, creating exciting opportunities for families to explore science, technology, engineering and mathematics together. Delivered across six locations in the Black Country, the programme was designed to spark curiosity, build confidence and broaden access to STEM experiences for communities that are often underrepresented in these fields. By making STEM approachable, practical and fun, the workshops helped children and parents discover new interests and develop valuable skills.

Across the events, families took part in a wide range of interactive activities, including building electrical circuits, experimenting with engineering concepts and immersing themselves in virtual reality experiences. These practical sessions encouraged problem-solving, creativity and teamwork while giving participants the chance to engage with emerging technologies in a supportive environment.

To learn more about the outcomes, feedback and community impact, we invite you to read the full impact report.
