Our Physics Pioneer Programme aimed to inspire young people aged 10 to 18 from BAME communities to explore physics, engineering, and related scientific fields. Through interactive workshops, participants engaged with hands-on experiments, group challenges, and real-world demonstrations, learning key physics concepts such as forces, energy, and motion. The sessions were designed to make physics approachable and relevant, connecting the subject to everyday experiences and highlighting exciting career opportunities in STEM.
The workshops also challenged stereotypes and showcased the contributions of diverse physicists past and present, empowering participants to envision themselves in roles traditionally underrepresented in the field. By combining practical learning with career guidance, the programme provided insights into future pathways in physics, renewable energy, space exploration, and technology innovation.
