Building Futures: Green Careers Workshop for Schools

Are your students aged 16–18 and wondering what comes next? If you’re a school and are interested in providing your students with an exploratory career workshop, this free Green Careers Workshop has been designed to help provide them with an interactive insight into green careers.
Join us for an engaging, practical workshop where you’ll discover how sustainability is creating exciting new career opportunities across a wide range of industries. Through interactive activities, group challenges and real-world examples, your students will gain a better understanding of the skills employers are looking for and the many pathways available within the growing green economy.
Developed alongside industry professionals, this workshop provides a genuine insight into careers that are helping to shape a more sustainable future. Students will explore how innovation, technology and environmental thinking are transforming sectors including construction, engineering, manufacturing, transport, energy, design and community development.
During the Green Careers Workshop students will:
- Explore what sustainability means and why it matters.
- Learn about emerging green careers and future job opportunities.
- Take part in practical, hands-on activities.
- Build confidence through teamwork and collaborative challenges.
- Develop problem-solving and communication skills.
- Discover the transferable skills valued by employers.
- Learn about education, training and career pathways into green industries.
- Meet experienced facilitators who can answer questions and help students explore their next steps.
Whether students already have an interest in environmental issues or are simply looking for inspiration about their future, this workshop offers a welcoming environment where they can learn, ask questions and discover opportunities they may never have considered.
No previous experience or knowledge is required—just curiosity and a willingness to get involved.
