What You'll Be Doing

Do you want to become healthier and start exercising, but don’t know where to start?

If so, this amazing programme is for you.

With the support from Active Black Country, Make More have created an 8-week fitness programme to help Men build confidence as they learn how to safely exercise and understand the importance of nutrition.

Sessions will take place every Saturday afternoon between 1:30pm - 2:30pm for an 8 week period. All participants will be onboard and will be receiving support throughout the programme's duration. 

With the help of a personal trainer, a small group of males will be supported to create and maintain a healthier and more active lifestyle.

Each week for 8 weeks, you will have a face-to-face exercise class with an incredible personal trainer. The class will be followed by nutritional advice and a low-cost meal planning guidance for the following week.

Throughout this programme you will be supported and guided. Prior to the start of the programme, you will be able to talk to one of our friendly advisors about your fitness goals, motivations, and potential hurdles. We will use this information to help develop a fitness programme that works for you.

At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate for completing the training and you will be given personalised advice on continuing your fitness journey.

The programme is FREE for males who do not currently exercise or have low levels of physical activity and meet one of the following criteria:

  • Unemployed
  • In receipt of a low-income benefit
  • Living with a disability
  • From an ethnic minority group
